Hoping for a Magical Day

Howdy Stampers!
The Best Man in my son's wedding has four children. The "baby" of the bunch, James, was diagnosed with cancer last May when he was but 4 years old.  He has been a real trooper and is doing well.  A little over month ago, when he was in the hospital for about a month with no visitors allowed (except mom, dad and grandparents....no siblings) there was little to do but send the guy, who has since turned 5, a card to hopefully brighten his day.  We call him James Fierce because he is such a fighter and is so brave during all his treatments.

Of course Myths and Magic is perfect for this brave boy!
Have you SEEN the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series  Paper?? Page 36-37 in the Occasions catalog.   It glimmers and shines. It is AWESOME!
I was surprised to find that the thinlits in this bundle do NOT match the Designer Series Paper though.  So, on a long road trip, when it was my daughter's turn to drive, I cut out a sheet of the knights, castles and dragons.  Having done that, this card was a breeze when it came time to make it.

Unfortunately, I do not know the name of this fun fold.  We can call it the "no name fun fold" unless someone can leave me a comment on the actual name of it. LOL!!

  1. Used to be called a Joy fold many years ago. Joy Kennedy was the originator of it. Not sure what it may be called now.
